Together for the energy transition

At the Energy Innovation Center (EIZ) of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, over 80 researchers from 15 disciplines are working in a strong network with more than 40 partners from academia, industry, and the public sector on solutions for a climate-neutral energy future. The interdisciplinary consortium brings together expertise from the fields of energy systems engineering, computer science, business, materials science, and control engineering. Associate partners such as Fraunhofer IEG, DLR, Siemens Energy, 50Hertz, LEAG, and Rolls-Royce Power Systems complement the research with practical know-how. Together, we shape innovative technologies, regional value creation, and sustainable energy infrastructures – for Lusatia and beyond.
