Following their launch last year, the Decarbon Days 2026 The event has entered its second round, thus solidifying its role as a platform for dialogue on industrial decarbonization in Lusatia. The two-day event connects stakeholders from business, research, politics, and civil society to discuss new technologies, sustainable business approaches, and concrete transformation pathways for energy-intensive industries.
The focus is on the main theme. "“Building added value and cooperation in and between net-zero regions,” embedded in the context of Lusatia as Europe’s first Net Zero Valley – a hotspot for clean industry, research and cooperation.
The event offers a varied program Featuring high-caliber panels, Net Zero Valley meetings, interactive exhibitions, guided Net Zero tours of regional projects, and practical formats. A particular highlight is the Female Energy Award, honoring female innovators in clean energy and industry, and the Climathon, a cross-border student competition for developing concrete decarbonization missions.
With its significantly expanded Talent Day, the event is also specifically targeting young talents in STEM fields, aiming to connect young professionals, research, and industry. The Decarbon Days 2026 are thus evolving into an open, forward-looking platform for partners and stakeholders in the green transformation.
