SPARK Inspire is a series of events designed to inspire and encourage energy researchers, students, and aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and adopt a startup-oriented mindset. These events offer insights from energy startup founders who have successfully navigated the path from academia to market, as well as from investors who recognize the value of science-based startups.

Dr. Owen C. Ernst, Founder of qgm. Owen is a physical chemist who has transitioned to entrepreneurship in quantum materials. After earning his PhD, Owen co-founded quantum gradematerials (qgm), a company that develops isotopically modified semiconductor gases for next-generation quantum technologies.
