High voltage, virtual reality and fresh air: On our joint bike tour with the Lausitz Science Park (LSP) you will not only explore the grounds of the LSP but also get exclusive insights behind the scenes of the EIZ.
These two stations await you:
- The climate chamber of the EPS Lab – In the high-voltage hall, research is being conducted on environmentally friendly replacement insulating materials for medium and high-voltage systems – tested under real climatic conditions in the climate chamber.
- The LUVRE of the EECON Lab– The LED-CAVE, which was just opened by Federal Minister Dorothee Bär, makes energy infrastructure tangible: wind turbines, hydrogen or CO₂ pipelines can be virtually explored – an ideal basis for new research on acceptance and planning of the energy transition.
- Afterwards, you will explore the vast grounds of the Lausitz Science Park on two wheels.
